POSTPONED TO 28 MARCH – 1 APRIL 2022
Contributions should be submitted by 1 December 2021. The heart of the Symposium is the daily Poster Session, during which a buffet lunch will be served. Perspective contributors are encouraged to apply for a poster presentations, addressing the Scientific & Technical Themes of the Symposium. Some contributions, addressing particular topics, could be selected for Oral Seminars and Panel Debates. No parallel sessions are foreseen, so that each presentation may have a chance to be followed by all participants.
Contributors are invited to submit a 2-page Extended Abstract (in .doc format, completed by figures and references; see Abstract Template). All contributions are reviewed by at least 2 international experts, and can be accepted, accepted pending revision, or rejected, based on the referees’ recommendations. It is strongly recommended to submit a high-quality, sufficiently detailed and properly formatted Extended Abstract, to allow a proper review process and to maximize chances of acceptance.
Accepted submissions will be ascribed to one of the foreseen sessions. An “Oceans from Space” Award will be assigned to 1 Best Contribution and 9 Distinguished Contributions, through a voting scheme involving all Participants. All Extended Abstracts will be collected in a Scientific & Technical Report, to be published online. Posters and presentation slides, if delivered in .pdf at the Symposium, will also be published on line. Full-length papers will be solicited for a Special Issue of MDPI Remote Sensing.
