The 4th “Oceans from Space” Symposium, which follows the 3 previous editions held in 1980, 1990 and 2000, is planned to take place once again in Venice, Italy, on 26-30 April 2010. This conference, held only every 10 years, aims to provide an outline of the state-of-the-art in the field of satellite oceanography, an overview of current research on the international scene, and a forum to debate topical issues.
